If you are on the UFV Wifi (wireless network) or trying to access your files from home, here are the steps to find your personal files or R drive.
1. First, go to MyUFV and sign in.
2. Scroll through your dashboard until you find IT Web Resources; Click on Access myFiles Online.
3. Sign in with your student number and usual password to UFV myFiles.
4. Click on the "Student" file.
5. Select the "HomeDir" file.
6. Click on the "7" file.
8. Now select the file labelled with your student number, beginning with "300".
9. And voilà! You should see your personal files here.
This is an excellent way of keeping back up files of your work if you don't have a computer at home, or if you want to work on the same document at home & on campus at UFV.
