An research database is a collection of thousands of articles appearing in specific newspapers, journals, magazines and more. Each research database will cover certain subject areas better than others. If you don't find what you are looking for in one, try another.

If you use this search box from the library home page, you can search many research databases all at one time.

Or, if you'd like to look through UFV's list of databases, click Articles and Databases on the upper left-hand side, under the UFV logo.

On the Articles and Databases page, you can:

  • search by topic
  • search for Journals by title
  • browse all available research databases
  • and more!

To browse the full list of databases, click Browse all research databases

All of our databases are sorted Alphabetically. If you don't know where to start, try one of our 'Featured Databases' from the right-hand pane.
