Q. What about my privacy?

The UFV Library makes available to the UFV community numerous online research databases and other services that are intended to support teaching, learning, and research at UFV. Some of these resources offer services that may require you to establish a personal account; use of such services is entirely voluntary, and provided to you for your convenience.

As a public body, the University of the Fraser Valley complies with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of British Columbia. However, the personal contact information you disclose to establish an account such as the one described above, as well as the bibliographic, citation, and other data you record, may be stored on servers located outside of Canada; Canadian privacy laws may not apply to personal information you provide directly to our database providers.You may wish to review the provider's privacy policy.
